1st Mission to Haiti

Through a local contact, HAFE identified an orphanafe in Croix Des Bouquet, Haiti which was in dire need of assistance. On april 18, 2013 We went to haiti to visit the orphanage and deliver supplies. We were able to identify numerous defficiencies in the orphanage and immediately embarked on a mission to provide immediate assistance. We brought food,clothing and toys for the children. We established communication with local individuals that would monitor our efforts. We then decided to initiate aplan to raise money to try to improve health care delivery, education and nutrition.. we stayed for five days and retuned to new york on the 23rd of April.
